What a Las Vegas Club Crawl Actually Is
A club crawl is one night, several venues, with the entry worked out before you leave the hotel. That last part is the whole point. Las Vegas is not a city where you wander from door to door. The big rooms sit inside different resorts, the lines are long, cover climbs as the night goes on, and a group that shows up unannounced at 11:30pm is the group that pays the most and waits the longest. A crawl replaces all of that with a plan.
The word covers three quite different products, and most of the confusion comes from mixing them up. A shared crawl sells individual tickets and puts you in a group of strangers with a host. A private crawl is your group only, usually on a party bus or limo, with club entry arranged for you. And a do-it-yourself crawl is simply a well-timed night on the guest list at two or three rooms. They suit different groups, they cost different amounts, and picking the wrong one is the most common way a Vegas night goes sideways.
One reality shapes all three. Megaclub guest lists share roughly the same window, about 10:30pm to 1am, and the free entry for guys often cuts off around 11pm to midnight. So you cannot hop between three megaclubs for free in one night, whatever a flyer says. The crawls that work are built around one main room, with a lounge before it and an after-hours club behind it.
The Three Ways to Do It, Compared
| Shared crawl | Private crawl | Build your own | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who you are with | A mixed group of ticket buyers | Your group only | Your group only |
| Getting around | Set by the operator, often on foot | Limo or party bus sized to the group | Rideshare between stops |
| Club entry | Arranged by the host, fixed route | VIP entry arranged and pre-paid | Free on the guest list when the rules are met |
| Price | Per-person ticket, varies by operator | From $99 per person, gratuity included | Rides and drinks only |
| Best for | Solo travelers and pairs | Groups of four or more, celebrations | Balanced groups happy to plan |
Shared Club Crawls: What You Are Buying
A shared crawl is a ticket to someone else's night. You meet a host at a starting bar, join whoever else bought in for that date, and move through a fixed list of venues together. The value is real if you are traveling alone or as a pair, because the hardest part of Vegas nightlife for a solo guest is not the door, it is walking in with nobody to stand next to. A shared crawl fixes that in the first ten minutes.
The trade-offs are the flip side of the same thing. You do not choose the route, the pace or the company. The group's ratio is whatever it turns out to be on the night, and the stops are whatever that operator has arranged, so read the venue list before you buy rather than the headline. We do not run shared crawls, so we have no ticket to sell you here. If you are solo and want built-in company, it is a fair product. If you are a group of four or more, you are paying per head to share your night with strangers, and that is where the private version earns its place.
The Private Version: Nightclub on Wheels
Nightclub on Wheels is our most popular package and the private crawl we recommend. It is one reservation that covers the vehicle, the drinks on board and the club door, and nobody outside your group is on it. The night starts at a meetup lounge, the vehicle collects you there, you ride with champagne and your own playlist, stop for the group photo at the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, and get dropped at the nightclub with entry already arranged.
- VIP Nightclub Entry. Skip the general line and walk straight in. Entry is arranged and pre-paid before you ever leave the bus.
- Las Vegas Sign Photo Stop. The iconic Welcome to Las Vegas photo every group wants, timed into your route.
- Champagne & Bar Setup. Complimentary champagne plus mixers, ice, cups and napkins on board.
- BYOB Friendly. Bring your own drinks for the ride. We supply the setup.
- Your Playlist. Bluetooth audio in the vehicle. Connect your phone and play whatever you want.
- Driver Gratuity Included. The driver tip is built into your price. Nothing to calculate at the end of the night.
The vehicle scales with the group, and it is the reason this works for a bachelor party of eight as well as a company outing of sixty.

A few things to know before you book. It is 21 and over with no exceptions, the whole night runs 4 to 6 hours total night, and pickup works best within about a mile of the Strip so the sign stop fits inside your vehicle time. Deposit, payment and cancellation terms are on the booking page.
Build Your Own: A Three-Stop Crawl on the Guest List
If your group is balanced and you do not need the bus, you can run a crawl for the price of your rides and your drinks. This is the route we would send our own friends on. It uses three rooms where we run the list directly, so the terms below are the ones on the confirmation we send you, not a guess. It works Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the nights all three are open.
Stop 1 · Arrive 9:00pm
Ghostbar Palms, 55th floor
Free entry on our list (9:00pm - 1:00am). Ladies get one free drink ticket, guys a half-off drink ticket. Check in with the host at the podium out front.
Ghostbar guest list →
Stop 2 · Arrive 10:30 to 11:00pm
Zouk Nightclub Resorts World
The free list opens at 10:30pm. Ladies are comped in the window and guys are typically free in a roughly even ratio early, so this is the stop to be on time for.
Zouk Nightclub guest list →
Stop 3 · Arrive 1:00am or later
Drai's After Hours The Vanderpump Hotel
List runs 1:00am - 3:00am. Even-ratio groups are free until 3:00am, with champagne for ladies from 1:00 to 2:00am.
Drai's After Hours guest list →The logic of the order matters more than the venues. Ghostbar opens earliest and has the view, so it is the warm-up: a rooftop lounge where the group can actually talk and get the first round on a drink ticket. Zouk is the main room, and it is the one stop with a hard clock, because the free window for guys closes first. Be at the door between 10:30 and 11pm, dressed to code, with the group together. Drai's After Hours does not open until 1am, which is exactly when the main rooms start to thin, so it picks the night back up instead of ending it.
Two cautions. These are typical terms and they tighten on headliner nights and holiday weekends, so we confirm them for your date when you sign up. And the lists favor a balanced group. If you are mostly guys, the free route gets narrow fast, and a private crawl with entry pre-paid or a table is the honest answer. See the Las Vegas guest list guide for how ratios and cutoffs work.
Which Nights Work
A crawl is only as good as the rooms that are open. Friday and Saturday run everything, which is why they are also the most crowded and the hardest doors. Thursday is the sweet spot for a crawl: enough rooms to build a route and shorter waits at the door. Earlier in the week you are choosing between one or two signature parties, so plan a single strong night rather than a crawl.

What a Crawl Night Costs
It helps to know what the alternative costs before you price a crawl. Our Vegas Nightlife Price Index tracks it each quarter. For Q3 2026, a standard general-admission club night came to about $125 per person: door cover plus three cocktails with tax and tip, at one club. A table is a different scale. The median entry-level nightclub table worked out to about $1,030 all-in once tax, venue fee and gratuity are added, or roughly $258 a head for a group of four.
Against that, the three crawl options line up like this. Building your own on the guest list removes the cover from the equation, so your spend is drinks and rides. Nightclub on Wheels starts at $99 per person and folds the transport, the champagne, the sign stop, the club entry and the driver's tip into one number, which is why it prices so well for a celebration. A shared crawl ticket sits wherever that operator sets it, so compare what is actually included rather than the headline price. To run your own numbers, use the night out cost calculator.
Who Should Book What
- Bachelor and bachelorette parties. Private crawl. The group arrives together, the ride is part of the party, and nobody is doing math at the door. Pair it with our bachelor or bachelorette planning.
- Birthdays and mixed friend groups. If the group is balanced, build your own on the guest list and spend the savings on a round. If it is ten or more, the private crawl keeps everyone in one place.
- Mostly guys. Lists are built on ratio, so a guy-heavy group pays the most at a megaclub door. Pre-paid entry on a private crawl, or a VIP table, is usually cheaper than cover for everyone.
- Solo travelers and pairs. A shared crawl gives you the company. If you would rather keep it free, get on the guest list at one main room and let the night come to you.
- Corporate and team outings. Private crawl. One booking, one itinerary, and a vehicle that fits the whole headcount.
Day Club Crawls and Pool Days
The daytime version runs on the same idea with earlier clocks. Dayclub guest lists usually run from late morning to about 3pm, and the smart arrival is before 2pm on a busy day. Because the pools sit even farther apart than the nightclubs, one pool done well beats two done in a rush. For a ladies' group, Splash Dance! Pool Party is the daytime counterpart to Nightclub on Wheels: a limo pregame and a pool party for groups of 4 to 14, from $49 per person. It is on our packages page. Most Strip pools run roughly March through October, so in the cooler months a crawl is a nighttime plan. See Las Vegas pool parties for what is open.
The Last Stop: A Strip Club
Plenty of crawls end the same way, and it is the easiest stop of the night to arrange. Our strip club package is a free round-trip limo and free VIP entry, and you pay for two drinks. Because it comes with its own ride, it slots in after the main room without anyone needing to find one.
The Rules That Trip Groups Up
- ID. Everyone needs a valid, non-expired government photo ID. A paper temporary or a photo on your phone gets turned away, and one refusal holds up the group.
- Dress for the strictest door. If one stop on your route enforces upscale attire, the whole group dresses to it. No athletic wear, shorts, sandals or baseball caps. The dress code guide covers each room.
- Arrive together. Lists are checked as a group, and ratio is counted at the rope. Half the party arriving twenty minutes late changes the math.
- Respect the clock. The main-room window is the one that closes. Leave the first stop early rather than the second stop late.
- Pace it. Doors turn away anyone who looks like they have had too much, and that is the fastest way to end a crawl at stop two.
