The Foundation Room Legacy

Foundation Room sat on the 63rd floor of Mandalay Bay above the House of Blues: part restaurant, part members-style lounge, part small-format club, wrapped in dark wood, velvet and one of the best north-facing Strip views in the city. It was the room you took a date or out-of-town guests when you wanted the view and a grown-up pace instead of a megaclub floor.

House of Blues closed the room in September 2025 as part of Live Nation's rework of the space, with a new concept - reported as the Vinyl Room - expected around summer 2026. When it opens we will cover it; until then, the closest experiences in town are a Strip-view lounge night or a VIP table at one of the rooms below.
