What Monday Night Is Like in Las Vegas
Let us be straight with you: Monday is a quiet night in Las Vegas. Most of the megaclubs that run wall-to-wall on a weekend are dark to start the week, and the dayclub scene is mostly closed too. If you are picturing the full Strip lineup with headliners in every room, that is a Friday or Saturday, not a Monday. The good news is that quiet does not mean empty, and a smart Monday can actually be one of the best-value nights of your trip.
The reason Monday still works is Marquee Mondays. Marquee at The Cosmopolitan programs its week around a handful of nights, and Monday is one of them. Marquee Mondays is the long-running industry party where promoters, hosts and nightlife staff go out, which keeps the room genuinely alive while the rest of the Boulevard sleeps. Add Stadium Swim at Circa downtown, which runs every day of the year, and you have a real plan for a Monday rather than an apology for one. Fewer options, but the ones that exist are good.

Where to Go on a Monday
The Monday lineup is short, so we are not going to pretend a dozen rooms are open when they are not. Here is what actually runs and why it is worth your night.
Marquee - The Cosmopolitan
Marquee Mondays is the reason to go out on a Monday in Vegas. It is one of the longest-running industry nights in the city, and because the nightlife crowd itself comes out, the energy is a cut above what you would expect at the start of the week. The three-room layout helps a lot on a lighter night: the Main Room runs the festival-scale EDM and house under the new Dolby Atmos and 8K LED production, the Boom Box leans tech and deep house, and the Library is an intimate, luxe room with a pool table when you want to actually hear your group talk. A mixed crew can split up and still stay under one wristband. See the Marquee guide or jump straight to the Marquee guest list.
Marquee also happens to run one of the only free even-ratio guest lists among the big Strip clubs, which makes a quiet Monday an even better value. All-women groups generally get in free, ladies who arrive early often get drink tickets, and guys get in free in a roughly even ratio before the cutoff. Arrive in the 10:30 to 11pm window, dressed to code, with your group together. The Cosmopolitan crowd is fashion-forward, so lean dressy and leave the athletic wear at the hotel. If the Main Room is busy on a marquee booking, the Boom Box is often the faster, easier entry.
Dayclubs & Year-Round Options
The Strip pool parties are mostly closed early in the week, so for a Monday daytime the answer is downtown.
- Stadium Swim at Circa. This downtown rooftop is the one pool that runs every single day of the year, Monday included, because its six pools are temperature controlled. It is built around a colossal 143-foot HD screen with stadium-style tiered seating, so it is the best place in the city to watch a game, a fight or a big race with a drink in hand and your feet in the water. On a Monday with an NFL game on the schedule, this is exactly where you want to be. It is a day-drinking, game-day amphitheater rather than a DJ pool party, and the vibe is easygoing and social. See Stadium Swim at Circa.
Because Stadium Swim is event-driven, the day depends on what is on the screen. A marquee game packs the deck and the best seats sell out, so for a big event we push groups to reserve a tiered spot or cabana ahead of time. For the full daytime breakdown, see our Las Vegas pool parties page.
What to Expect on a Monday
Expect a calmer, friendlier night than a weekend. With most of the Strip dark, the one room that is open, Marquee, runs shorter lines, an easier door, and a guest list that works more in your favor. Marquee Mondays still pulls an industry crowd, so the room has real life to it, but you will not be fighting the peak-capacity crush you get on a Friday or Saturday. For a lot of groups that trade-off is a win: a genuinely good party with a fraction of the hassle.
Cover and table minimums are typically lower on a Monday than on a weekend, simply because demand is lower. The one thing that can change the math is a special booking on a Marquee Monday, so it is always worth checking who is playing before you lock in. Dress to code, arrive in the early window, keep your group together with IDs ready, and you should walk in smoothly. Everything on this list is strictly 21 and over.
How to Get In on a Monday
Even on a quiet night, the two ways in are the same, and which one fits depends on your group and your budget.
- Guest list. The budget route, and an especially strong value on a Monday. We add your group to the list and send you the arrival window and meeting point. At Marquee the list is free on a roughly even ratio, with drink tickets for ladies on early arrival. Arrive before the cutoff, usually in the 10:30 to 11pm window, and you walk in without dropping a fortune at the door. See our Las Vegas guest list guide.
- VIP table and bottle service. The move for a bigger group or anyone who wants a reserved home base and zero line. You commit to a minimum spend, that spend goes toward your bottles, and your whole group walks in together. Minimums tend to be friendlier on a Monday than on a weekend. We negotiate the location and number so you are not overpaying. See current Las Vegas bottle service prices.
The golden rule still applies: arrive early. The early window is when the guest list is best, the door is friendliest, and your group moves through fastest. Show up dressed to code, with everyone together and IDs ready. Message us your date and group size and we will arrange your Monday before you leave your hotel.
