July 4th Weekend
4th of July Las Vegas Pool Parties
Independence Day weekend (early July)
Fourth of July is the high-water mark of Las Vegas pool season. The dayclubs stack their biggest DJ lineups of the summer, holiday programming runs Friday through Sunday, and the whole Strip turns into one giant daytime party that rolls straight into fireworks and club nights after dark.
It is one of the three busiest pool weekends of the year alongside Memorial Day and Labor Day, so daybeds, cabanas and guest list all move fast and holiday pricing kicks in. Lock your setup early and we will sequence pool by day into clubs at night so your group is never stuck in a line during the set you came for.

How to Do It Right
Book early, then guest list or a table
These weekends sell out and the door tightens. Get on the guest list to keep it cheap, or lock a VIP table for guaranteed entry on the biggest nights. We confirm the live rules for your date.
Grab a daybed or cabana early
Holiday pool weekends sell their reserved seating first, and many venues close general guest list on July 4th itself. We lock your daybed or cabana and the guest list for the day.
Beat the heat and the line
Early July runs 105 to 115 degrees and holiday lines are the longest of the summer. Arrive before 11:30am, hydrate hard, pool early, recover, then hit the club.
Why July 4th Is the Biggest Pool Weekend in Las Vegas
Independence Day lands in the dead center of Las Vegas pool season, and the city treats it accordingly. Pool season runs roughly March through October, but the three holiday weekends, Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day, are the marquee dates when the dayclubs program their deepest lineups and the whole Strip turns out. Of the three, July 4th has a particular energy: it is mid-summer, the residencies are at full stride, and the holiday usually anchors a Friday-through-Sunday run of back-to-back parties rather than a single day.
Because demand peaks, two things happen at once. Prices step up, typically 5 to 10 percent over a standard summer weekend, and access tightens. Reserved daybeds and cabanas sell out first, and several venues close or restrict their general guest list on the holiday itself. That is not a reason to skip it, it is a reason to plan it. The groups that book ahead walk in to a reserved spot in the shade with a DJ they actually wanted to see, while the walk-ups bake in the longest lines of the year. As local hosts, our whole job on this weekend is getting you into the first group.
The Best Las Vegas Dayclubs for July 4th
Encore Beach Club (Wynn/Encore) is the heavyweight of the dayclub scene and the room most people picture when they think Vegas pool party. Three tiers of pools, a massive main stage and a roster of the biggest EDM and open-format headliners make it the default July 4th pick for big production. It runs Friday through Sunday from 11am, so it is open all holiday weekend.
LIV Beach (Fontainebleau) is the newest premium dayclub on the Strip, anchoring the north end with a sleek design and a lineup of names like John Summit, David Guetta and Disco Lines through the summer. It is open Friday through Sunday and is a strong choice if you want the latest room with a polished crowd.
Ayu Dayclub (Resorts World) brings a Southeast Asian beach-festival theme, a big main stage and high-energy programming, including surprise water-gun moments, that make it one of the busiest and most fun pools in the city on a holiday. TAO Beach (The Venetian) reopened as a luxury Bali-inspired daylife destination and runs a more upscale, design-forward vibe. Marquee Dayclub (The Cosmopolitan) sits high above the Strip with open-format and hip-hop programming and one of the best views in town.
Palm Tree Beach Club (MGM Grand) is the rebuilt room that replaced the former Wet Republic space, opened with a full redesign and a Kygo-led palm-house concept. If you are working from an older guide, note that the venue is now Palm Tree Beach Club, not its predecessor. For year-round and budget-friendly options, Stadium Swim at Circa runs daily with stadium-style screens and is open even outside peak season, and Tailgate Beach Club at Mandalay Bay brings a sports-and-music angle for groups that want games on the screens alongside the DJ.
What a July 4th Pool Party Costs
There are three ways in, and picking the right one is where groups save or overspend. The guest list is the budget route on a normal day, free or reduced for ladies and even-ratio for guys before a cutoff, but on July 4th itself several venues suspend or tighten it because demand is so high. General-admission tickets on the holiday run roughly $40 to well over $100 depending on the venue and the DJ, a real step up from a standard weekend.
Reserved seating is where most groups land for a holiday. Daybeds generally start around $800 to $1,500 as a food-and-beverage spend minimum, which splits across your group rather than being a flat cover, so for four people that can work out to a few hundred each that you spend on drinks and food anyway. Cabanas are the premium play, starting around $2,000 and climbing into five figures at the top rooms on July 4th, and they come with shade, a dedicated server, often a private space and the best location. Every quote also carries tax, gratuity and a venue fee on top, which is exactly why we send an all-in number for your date instead of a teaser rate that balloons at the door.
How to Survive and Pace a July 4th in Las Vegas
Early July in Las Vegas is genuinely extreme, regularly 105 to 115 degrees, and the holiday crowds create the longest lines of the summer. The single best move is to arrive early: doors open at 11am at most dayclubs, and being in by 11:30 beats the worst of both the heat and the line. Hydrate aggressively, alternate water with drinks, wear sunscreen and a hat, and use your reserved daybed or cabana shade as a base to retreat to. A full day in that sun followed by a club night is a marathon, and the people who pace it are the ones still standing at 2am.
Logistics matter too. Most dayclubs restrict glass, outside drinks, large bags and pro cameras, so pack light: ID, a card or cash, sunscreen and a phone. Plan your transport in advance, because rideshare surges hard on the holiday and the Strip clogs around the fireworks. We map the day so your group moves cleanly from pool to recovery to club, with the timing built around your headliner so you are never standing in a queue while your DJ is playing.
Pool by Day, Clubs by Night: The Full July 4th Itinerary
The classic Vegas holiday is a two-shift day. The dayclub carries the afternoon, then the city's megaclubs take over at night with fireworks in between. XS at Encore, Omnia at Caesars Palace, Zouk at Resorts World and Hakkasan run their biggest holiday lineups, and many of the same DJs who play the pools in the day reappear in the clubs after dark. Booking both halves with one host keeps the whole day flowing and your group together.
If your trip is a celebration, July 4th is a perfect anchor for it. Bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthdays and corporate groups all do well over the holiday because there is so much programming to build around. Check our DJ schedule to see who is playing your dates, then tell us your group size and what you want the weekend to feel like. One local host will line up the daybeds, cabanas, guest list, VIP tables and transport so all you have to do is show up.
