Best Gay Bars & Nightclubs in Las Vegas
Las Vegas has the most concentrated LGBTQ+ nightlife in the Southwest, and almost all of it sits in one walkable cluster called the Fruit Loop, led by Piranha. This is our local hosts' honest, up-to-date guide to the best gay bars and clubs in Vegas for 2026, plus Pride dates, the pool parties, what a night costs, and how to skip the cover with a guest list and lock in a VIP table.
The Best Gay Bars & Clubs in Las Vegas
From the flagship dance club to the 24-hour neighborhood bars, here are the spots we put in front of visitors most often. Nearly all of them sit in or near the Fruit Loop, so you can move between them on foot in a single night. We have left the closed ones off this list (both Charlie's and FreeZone have shut), so everything here is open and verified for 2026.
Piranha Nightclub
The flagship dance clubPiranha is the biggest and best-known gay dance club in Las Vegas, voted the city's top gay nightclub for nine years running. It is a full nightclub experience: a proper dance floor under serious production, big-room DJs, go-go dancers and a nightly drag program that draws name performers. The crowd is high-energy and mixed, the music leans open-format and circuit, and the room peaks late, running seven nights a week into the early morning (around 5am weekdays and 6am on Friday and Saturday). It anchors the Fruit Loop at 4633 South Paradise Road. On weekends, holidays and Pride, the door gets a real line, which is exactly when a guest list spot or a VIP table changes your night. This is the one to build the evening around.
8 1/2 Ultra Lounge
Piranha's lounge next doorAttached to Piranha and sharing the same building, 8 1/2 is the lounge side of the operation: a sexier, lower-key room with its own bar, plush seating and a patio where you can actually hear each other before diving into the dance floor next door. Most groups move freely between the two on a single night and a single cover, warming up in 8 1/2 and peaking in Piranha. It is the smart move if your group wants both a conversation-friendly start and a full club finish without leaving the property.
The Garage
24/7 sports & neighborhood barThe Garage is the around-the-clock neighborhood favorite: an automotive-themed gay sports bar with a masculine, come-as-you-are vibe, pool tables, gaming, a full kitchen and a big patio that fills up on game days and themed nights. Open 24 hours, it is the reliable before-and-after spot when the dance clubs are between peaks, and a genuinely good hang on its own with cheap drinks and a friendly local crowd. If you want a low-pressure bar rather than a club, start here.
Quadz Video Bar
Music videos & karaoke, 24/7Quadz is a fun, 24-hour video bar known for music videos playing across a wall of screens, strong karaoke nights, drag and cabaret programming, and a welcoming regular crowd. It is more intimate than Piranha and more about singing along and hanging out than a packed dance floor, which makes it a great first stop in the Fruit Loop or a late-night landing spot. Friendly bartenders, stiff pours and a loyal community feel.
Badlands Saloon
Western, cozy & cheapBadlands Saloon is the long-running country-western style gay bar that has served the community for decades, tucked into the Commercial Center district. It is smaller, friendlier and more relaxed than the dance clubs, with cheap drinks, a pool table, a small dance floor and a loyal local following. Expect line-dancing nights, drag and a genuine neighborhood-bar welcome. The move for a low-key night or a cheap, character-filled stop between the bigger rooms.
The Fruit Loop: Vegas's Gay District
The Fruit Loop is the nickname for the cluster of LGBTQ+ bars and clubs along Paradise Road, about a mile east of the Strip near Naples Drive and a few minutes from the airport. It is the heart of gay Las Vegas: Piranha and its 8 1/2 lounge anchor it, with more bars within a short walk, and most of them run 24 hours. You can rideshare from any Strip hotel in minutes, bar-hop the whole loop on foot, and head back whenever you are done. It is compact, friendly and easy to navigate even on a first visit.
The move most visitors make: start easy at a 24-hour spot like The Garage or Quadz, then peak at Piranha for the dance floor, drag and DJs, with 8 1/2 as the in-between lounge. On weekends, Pride week and big event nights, that peak is exactly when a guest list or a VIP table pays off, because the door at Piranha gets a serious line. Beyond the Fruit Loop, Badlands in Commercial Center is worth the short hop for a cheaper, country-western neighborhood night.
What a Night Out Costs and How to Get In
Costs swing by venue and night, so treat these as general ranges and ask us for the exact number on your date. The neighborhood bars, The Garage, Quadz and Badlands, are cheap to free to enter, with affordable drinks, which is part of why they are such reliable hangs. Piranha is the one with a real door: cover climbs on weekends, holidays, drag headliner nights and Pride week, and stays light or free on quieter weeknights. Drinks are club-priced once you are inside.
Free / Reduced Guest List
Get on the Piranha guest list before the cutoff for reduced or free entry and a faster line. No promo code to hunt for, the list is the deal.
VIP Tables & Bottle Service
Guarantee entry on a packed weekend or Pride night, seat your whole group and skip the line with a table. We quote an all-in price up front.
Strip Clubs & Pools Too
Want the big-room Strip experience alongside the Fruit Loop? We book guest list and tables at every major Vegas nightclub and pool party.
Pride, Pool Parties & Big Event Nights
Las Vegas celebrates Pride in October rather than June. In 2026 the Las Vegas Pride Night Parade runs Friday, October 9, and the main Pride Festival lands Saturday, October 17, at Desert Breeze Events Center, with a full week of pool parties, drag brunches and nightlife around it. The Fruit Loop, and Piranha in particular, becomes the center of the after-dark celebration, so guest list and tables for Pride week go fast and should be booked early.
Outside Pride, the signature recurring event is Temptation Sundays, the city's long-running LGBTQ+ pool party at the Luxor during pool season, plus drag brunches and gay-popular dayclub events throughout the year. New Year's Eve and holiday weekends are also peak nights at Piranha. Whatever the date, tell us what you are planning and we will line up the right combination of guest list, tables, pool cabanas and transport so your group is not piecing it together at the door.
How a Local Host Makes It Easy
The same way we run guest list and bottle service at the Strip megaclubs, we set it up across gay Vegas: a reduced or free guest list at Piranha, a VIP table that guarantees entry and skips the line on a packed night, pool party access for Temptation Sundays and Pride events, and one point of contact who answers fast. Whether it is a birthday, a bachelor or bachelorette, a Pride trip or a first visit to the Fruit Loop, give us the dates and the group and we will build the whole night, from the neighborhood bars to the dance floor to the Strip.
